DUSTTRAK DRX uses a unique sheath gas system to isolate aerosols and optical chambers, ensuring the cleanliness of optical components, extending their lifespan, and reducing maintenance costs. DUSTTRAK DRX is not only suitable for clean office environments, but also for harsh industrial environments, building environments, and other outdoor locations. DUSTTRAK DRX can measure aerosols including dust, smoke, thick smoke, and thin mist. These new laser photometers can simultaneously measure the mass concentration distribution of 5 different particle size ranges, which no other instrument in the world can achieve. Both desktop and handheld 90 ° light scattering laser photometers are capable of continuous real-time measurement, and can simultaneously measure the mass concentration of particles in different particle size ranges, corresponding to PM1, PM2.5, Inhalable particulate matter, PM10, and total PM (<15 μ m). DUSTTRAKTM DRX uses a combination of particle cloud (all scattered light areas) and single particle monitoring technology to test the mass concentration of different particle size ranges. The measurement technology for particle mass concentration in different particle size ranges is superior to general photometers and optical particle counters (OPC). It simultaneously provides the mass concentration that can be measured by a universal photometer and the particle size distribution provided by a counter. Photometers can be used to measure high mass concentrations, but they cannot provide any particle size information (unless used with injection ports that can choose different particle sizes), but they clearly underestimate the mass concentration of large particles. Optical particle counters can provide information on particle size and quantity, but they cannot provide any information on mass concentration and cannot be used in high concentration environments.
